We are small-scale producers in a vulnerable region, and therefore, we are acutely aware of the depletion of the finite resources our land provides, and of the risks and consequences of climate change. Risks to our heritage, our planet, and the future of our children.

Moreover, we grew up on the land that is now ours, and we feel intimately connected to it. Indeed, we are part of our land, and we know from experience that it will treat us as we treat it.

Cafesmo is an organization dedicated to supporting its producer members in their efforts to work sustainably and - increasingly - circularly.

Cafesmo and its producer partners also enjoy the Fair Trade seal to guarantee respect for working conditions, among other things, and the organic seal to comply with the policies that make us better stewards of the planet.
